Renewed conference space for Mercure Geelong
Mercure Geelong has completed a full refurbishment of its conferences centre.
Officially opened September 30, the venue hosted an inaugural event for the Australian Wildlife Tourism Conference, with John Eren, Victorian Minister for Tourism, opening the occasion.
General Manager of Mercure Geelong, Phil O’Brian said: “We’re delighted to have re-launched our modernised conference centre to host such an important and high profile conference in our new venue.
“Taking in both the interior and exterior of the hotel to deliver a more prominent outlook for passers-by, the new event space offers a more energised and engaging area for delegates to spread out.
“We expect our new improved venue to be popular for weddings and local business functions,” he said.
