Nesuto Docklands will be a flagship hotel for Nesuto, showing off the latest and best of the Australasian brand, conveniently located within Melbourne’s growing Docklands entertainment and lifestyle waterfront precinct.

Designed by Fender Katsalidas Architects, and built by Hacer Group, the hotel has 211 studio, one and two-bedroom apartment rooms across 13 floors with views of Melbourne port, bay, city, and The District precinct.

Nesuto Docklands features modern, apartment-style accommodation, each suite equipped with a full kitchen, internal laundry in one and two bedroom apartments, spacious living and dining areas with separate bedrooms, and a gymnasium for guests. Environmentally thoughtful elements have been incorporated into the apartment hotel including solar panels to run the hotel, rooftop rainwater to flush toilets and lighting/temperature sensors in rooms.

When guests check in, reception activates their preferred air-conditioning temperature for the room via the property management system (PMS).

Being located within The District Docklands, Nesuto guests have one of Melbourne’s most unique offerings of places to eat, drink, shop and be entertained right on their doorstep. Choices include immersive art gallery ArtVo, O’Brien Icehouse ice skating and hockey centre, Chaos Lab for kids, The Hansel & Gretel Experience, Glow Golf, HOYTS, and Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq with bowling, arcade games, Zero Latency virtual reality experiences and dodgems for hours of entertainment.

Nesuto Docklands is positioned above The District’s Market Lane everyday needs precinct – home to a Woolworths supermarket, Dan Murphy’s and Chemist Warehouse. The apartment hotel is the perfect location for long-stay business travellers, families and holidaying groups looking to explore Melbourne, supported by two onsite car parks and easy access to the city via the free tram zone.

Chief Executive Officer for Daiwa Living Nesuto, Mark Ronfeldt, said “We are thrilled to bring this new-build Nesuto apartment hotel to Melbourne, which will be a flagship for the region. Nesuto Docklands will set a new standard in the apartment hotel space in our region.

“We look forward to welcoming guests who are seeking a superior apartment-hotel experience in the heart of The District Docklands which is evolving into one of Melbourne city’s premier entertainment and lifestyle precincts.

“Our strategic partnership with AsheMorgan has enabled us to work together to deliver an extraordinary product that further enhances The District Docklands offer for visitors to Melbourne. A new apartment hotel such as Nesuto Docklands will provide both business and leisure travellers with a true ‘live like a local’ experience whether they visit Melbourne for conferences or pleasure including major cultural or sporting events,” concluded Mark.

Development Director, Andrew Whiteside, said “Welcoming Nesuto Docklands to The District continues to strengthen our reputation as one of Melbourne’s most unique urban precincts and home to some of the city’s top entertainment and leisure destinations.

“It takes Ashe Morgan’s investment in The District to $.5B and adds another new addition to the city skyline as we create an inner-city hub that delivers unique experiences both for visitors and our valued business partners.

“We believe when we come together, we can achieve more, sharing this milestone with Nesuto following the upheaval of the past few years is a testament to the strength and resilience of this collaboration. We congratulate Nesuto and our many development partners for their vision and passion,” concluded Andrew.
