David Mansfield appointed new chair of Accommodation Australia

The decision came following a pivotal board meeting held in Sydney on Tuesday, where Mr. Mansfield emerged as the successor to outgoing Chair, Leanne Harwood.

Michael Johnson, CEO of Accommodation Australia, expressed confidence in Mr. Mansfield’s capabilities, citing his extensive experience and profound understanding of the industry.

“David has been an integral part of our board since we amalgamated last year and was Vice President of the Accommodation Association of Australia before that,” said Mr Johnson.

David Mansfield’s impressive career spans more than three decades in senior corporate and strategic roles across six countries within the hospitality industry. Born in Tamworth and raised on the sunny Gold Coast, he ventured into leadership roles worldwide in prestigious properties.
