Central Queensland has welcomed its first five-star hotel with the highly anticipated opening of Peppers Gladstone. This landmark debut, a collaboration between Accor, Australia’s largest hotel operator, and Yaralla Sports Club, marks a new era of luxury hospitality for the region.

The 32-room Peppers Gladstone is seamlessly integrated with the existing 60-room Mantra Gladstone, creating a dual-branded hotel concept—an area where Accor has established a strong expertise in the Australian market. As the first new-build luxury hotel in the region in over a decade, Peppers Gladstone sets a new benchmark for high-end accommodation in Gladstone and beyond.

A new standard in accommodation

Designed by BSPN Architects and built by Mettle Projects, Peppers Gladstone offers a variety of accommodation options, including King Studio Rooms and Superior Two-Bedroom Apartments. Each guestroom is thoughtfully curated to reflect the diverse landscapes of the region, from bushland and cityscapes to lush rainforests and the coastline.

Rooms are equipped with premium amenities, including fully equipped kitchens, king-sized beds, large televisions with Chromecast capabilities, and a complimentary non-alcoholic minibar. Guests can also enjoy a host of luxury facilities such as a heated outdoor swimming pool, complimentary drinks at the pool deck bar during select hours, an eight-seater cinema room, a modern gym, secure undercover parking, and high-speed wifi.

For dining, Peppers Gladstone offers two onsite restaurants catering to guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while the member’s lounge provides a comfortable setting for refreshments.

The integration of Peppers Gladstone with Mantra Gladstone enhances the city’s ability to accommodate over 150 guests at once. With versatile conference spaces, the hotel is well-equipped to host a range of events, including business meetings, expos, and weddings.
