Hospitality’s night of nights: NSW Accommodation Awards nominations now open

Who will take home the NSW accommodation industry’s top honours?

New South Wales’ hospitality stars are set to shine once again as nominations open for the state’s most prestigious tourism and accommodation awards—the Accommodation Australia NSW Awards for Excellence.

This is the moment for top-performing hotels, motels, and serviced apartments to step into the spotlight and showcase their dedication to outstanding service and innovation.

Accommodation Australia NSW General Manager Stacey McBride announced that this year’s awards are set to be the biggest yet, with 41 diverse categories celebrating excellence in the accommodation sector.

“This year, we are excited to introduce three new categories: Best Hotel Breakfast, Best Boutique Accommodation Experience, and Luxury Hotel of the Year, along with all the classic categories we feature annually,” said Ms McBride.

With a record-breaking 354 entries last year, the competition continues to grow, drawing participation from a wide range of properties, from five-star CBD hotels to small, family-run motels in regional NSW.

“These are hotels which lead the way in innovation, in staffing and in service and the task of narrowing down these categories to one or two winners will be difficult for our team of independent judges,” she added.

Key dates and entry details

The Awards for Excellence are open to all Accommodation Australia NSW members who meet the nomination criteria. Many category winners will also be eligible to compete at the AHA National Awards.
