Opening 2 November, Oakwood Epping Melbourne brings a new accommodation brand to Melbourne’s rapidly growing north
Internationally recognised hospitality brand Oakwood is expanding its Australian footprint, with bookings now open for the new 122-room Oakwood Epping Melbourne ahead of its opening on 2 November.
The property will become Oakwood’s second Australian location, joining Oakwood Premier Melbourne, with Oakwood Premier Adelaide set to open in late 2027.

Travellers heading to Melbourne’s booming northern corridor will soon have a new place to call home, with Oakwood Epping Melbourne offering contemporary studio, one- and two-bedroom accommodation designed for everything from an overnight visit to an extended stay.
The timing puts Oakwood Epping Melbourne on the map just days before one of the region’s favourite annual events, the Whittlesea Show, which returns on 7 and 8 November. Visitors travelling to Melbourne’s north for the Show will be among the first guests able to experience the new property.
Located at 160 Cooper Street, Oakwood Epping Melbourne arrives as Melbourne’s northern corridor continues its rapid transformation into a major employment, health, logistics and commercial hub.

The property is moments from Northern Hospital Epping and the surrounding health precinct, as well as Pacific Epping Shopping Centre, the Melbourne Market and Epping’s significant commercial and industrial areas. Easy access to the M80 Ring Road also provides connections to Melbourne Airport and the broader metropolitan area.

Oakwood Epping Melbourne will offer private balconies across Deluxe Studios and spacious One and Two Bedroom Deluxe Apartments, including accessible and interconnecting options, all with kitchenettes. Facilities include onsite food and beverage, secure parking, a gym, in room and onsite washer-dryers, and an upper-level alfresco terrace with BBQ facilities.
