Sydney hotel identifies niche ‘small meetings’ market in CBD

Metro Hospitality Group’s flagship property Metro Hotel Marlow Sydney Central, on the corner of Pitt and Campbell Streets in Sydney CBD, is actively targeting the ‘small meetings’ market following the recent refurbishment of its function room space.

The hotel’s general manager Mr Harry Leong has identified a niche for a more flexible and intimate environment for people to hold meetings and other functions in the Sydney CBD.

“We are offering an affordable alternative to some of the city’s larger conference venues which can feel sparse and impersonal if you don’t have the numbers to fill them,” Mr Leong said.

Mr Leong said that what started out as providing function space to a small number of regular clients has rapidly grown.
