Well, 12-year-olds always know best
70-years of family travel at the heart of new Holiday Inn campaign
Celebrating its 70th anniversary Holiday Inn has launched a new campaign inviting kids 12 years and under to review their hotel stays across Australia and New Zealand.
The Kids Critics campaign has been mounted to support what the company says is its commitment to providing great value for families through its global Kids Stay and Eat Free promise, modern restaurant and bar offering, and high standard of personal service.

The integrated marketing campaign includes a partnership with personality Chezzi Denyer, the wife of TV personality Grant Denyer, and her kids who will actively participate as reviewers.
An Australian research survey was also launched to draw insights from kids and their parents about what makes a five-star review for little travellers today.
In response, Holiday Inn is rewarding its youngest reviewers and kids critics aged 12 and under with 24/7 free ice cream until the end of November, the reward based on existing kids’ feedback which reveals 74 percent of kids admit that they’re happiest when they enjoy special foods such as ice cream while on holiday.
In other Holiday Inn news, the company continues to innovate and transform as it rolls out a refreshed brand identity throughout its hotels in the Australasian region.
The new brand identity is defined by design-led ‘Open Lobby’ spaces that are warm and inviting, offering a seamless blend between the front desk, restaurant, bar, lounge area and business centre into one highly flexible space.
The first properties boasting the new look and feel are Holiday Inn Werribee in Victoria and Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park in New Zealand.
