Following its opening in late 2023, W Sydney continues to take the Australian hotel scene to the next level with the reveal of its top-level suites – the Extreme Wow Suite and five Wow Suites. Combing bold design and eclectic experiences, these suites offer the ultimate setting for an exciting celebration or an indulgent city escape in the heart of Sydney’s dynamic Darling Harbour.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic HMAS Onslow, one of Australia’s celebrated submarines, the suite’s design exudes a captivating ‘marine chic’ aesthetic.
Crafted by W Sydney’s designers Bowler James Brindley, the suite seamlessly integrates submarine-inspired elements with opulent touches, offering guests an immersive experience from the moment they step in.
The focal point of the Extreme Wow Suite is the stunning seven-meter catwalk bar, crafted from Nero Marquina marble, inviting guests into the expansive living areas.
Marine-themed lighting and sculptured furniture adorn the space, reminiscent of a submarine’s organic design. The suite boasts a crescent-shaped guest bedroom, an adjoining walk-in robe, and a second circular bathtub strategically positioned to capture the mesmerising water views below.
Moreover, the Extreme Wow Suite indulges guests with a spirit bar and private cellar, featuring a curated selection of exceptional Champagnes and wines, overseen by W Sydney’s sommelier. For those seeking an elevated experience, private wine tastings and spirit flights can be arranged upon request, promising an unforgettable stay.
Ideal for bespoke events, the suite can accommodate up to 20 guests for seated gatherings and up to 50 guests for cocktail-style events, with W Sydney’s events team ensuring every celebration is tailored to perfection.
