Quest Orange crowned Australia’s top hotel in Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travellers’ Choice Awards
The regional NSW property leads an impressive showing for Quest Apartment Hotels, with seven of its locations making the top 25 list.
Quest Orange has been named the number one hotel in Australia in Tripadvisor’s prestigious Travellers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Hotels for 2025, a remarkable accolade based entirely on guest reviews.
The regional NSW property leads an impressive showing for Quest Apartment Hotels, with seven of its locations making the top 25 list. Quest South Perth Foreshore ranked fourth and Quest Perth Ascot came in at number eight. Other Quest properties featured include Quest North Sydney (11), Quest on Dorcas (15), Quest Bella Vista (21), and Quest Echuca (23).

The awards recognise the top 1 percent of listings on Tripadvisor, based on the volume and consistency of glowing guest reviews over the past year. Quest Orange achieved a near-perfect overall score of 4.9 out of 5 from 445 reviews, praised for its location, cleanliness, service, and value.
Located just a short walk from Orange’s town centre, the property offers spacious rooms with mountain and landmark views, premium fittings, a well-equipped gym, meeting rooms, and a rooftop terrace popular with guests.
Hotel owner Amy van de Ven said the recognition was a significant moment for both her team and the broader community.
“It’s absolutely amazing and I’m incredibly proud for Quest Orange to be named number one on Tripadvisor,” she said. “This recognition is really meaningful because it is based entirely on guest reviews. It is not just a huge win for our team but for regional tourism and the broader Orange community.”
Quest South Perth Foreshore, which earned a 4.8 rating from nearly 600 reviews, was praised for its family-friendly atmosphere and location. Quest Perth Ascot, also rated 4.8, stood out for its pool and guest amenities.
First-time top 10 entrant Quest Perth Ascot’s owner, Arshan Bhathena, said:
“I am beyond thrilled about this result. It is all to do with our team… our constant focus is on making sure our guests have an effortless stay and a wonderful experience.”
Quest North Sydney also impressed guests with standout facilities including a sauna and babysitting services, securing it the 11th spot.
Co-owner Joshua Harkness credited the hotel’s jump in rankings to strong customer service and improved accessibility:
“It is gratifying that we jumped in the ranks… our accessibility to the city has really been amplified by the new Sydney Metro, which has been a game changer for us.”
Tripadvisor’s Best of the Best Awards are regarded as one of the most trusted indicators of guest satisfaction globally. For Quest Apartment Hotels, this year’s recognition highlights the brand’s continued strength across the national accommodation landscape.
