Outrigger names Noosa GM
Outrigger Hotels & Resorts has appointed Niel Mason to the position of general manager
of the deluxe Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort & Spa, Noosa.
Mr Mason moves to Noosa after heading up Outrigger Twin Towns Resort at Coolangatta and Tweed Heads, while also chairing the region’s premier tourism body, Destination Tweed.
A highly motivated general manager, Mr Mason will consolidate the resort’s first year of trading by broadening ties with local tourism and business sectors and identifying new opportunities for the resort’s conferencing and food and beverage operations.
Mr Mason has quickly established his presence in the destination and has already partnered with the organisers of three major events running in Noosa in 2012.
He holds a range of qualifications including a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Hotel & Food Administration from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
