Trinity Beach resort gets green light
The Cairns Regional Council has approved a three storey development on the waterfront at Trinity Beach.
Developer Steve Paino gained approval for his plans to build a retail, residential and restaurant development on the corner of Vasey Esplanade and Trinity Beach Rd.
Mr Paino’s family-owned company confirmed the deveopment will be 9.1m high and feature nine units, space for five restaurants and three shops. Mr Paino said construction would be ready to begin once financing was sorted.
CRC has imposed nearly 50 strict conditions the developers will need to meet before and after construction, including several changes to the design and undertaking a plan to manage car parking in the area.
