Massive Quest expansion in 2015
Quest Serviced Apartments will significantly expand its New South Wales presence this year, with the leading serviced apartment operator on track to open five brand new properties – increasing its total footprint in the state by 426 additional rooms.
Situated in key suburban and regional locations, the four new properties scheduled to open in the first half of the year include:
• Quest Liverpool – 88 apartments at 39 Scott St, Liverpool to open 8 April
• Quest Albury on Townsend – 79 apartments at 450 Townsend St, Albury to open 20 April
• Quest Nowra – 81 apartments at 130 Kinghorne St, Nowra to open 30 April
• Quest Newcastle West – 78 apartments at 787 Hunter St, Newcastle to open in June
The fifth new Quest property – Quest Chatswood – is scheduled to open in December at 38 Albert Ave, Chatswood and will feature 100 apartments.
All properties will provide the Quest “home away from home” experience, with kitchen and laundry facilities, separate living/dining areas, wifi access, Foxtel, gymnasiums and conference room facilities.
Quest CEO, Zed Sanjana highlighted his excitement about the next twelve months for Quest and confidence that the new Quest properties in NSW will be strong contributors to the Quest network.
“The state continues to lead the country when it comes to total visitor nights, numbers and expenditure. According to Destination NSW’s State Tourism Statistics for 2014, domestic business visitors spent over 12.2 million nights in the state – an increase of 7.6 per cent over the previous year. International visitors travelling for business grew by 4.8 per cent,” he continued.
2015 is set to be a momentous year of growth for Quest across Australasia, with 12 new properties in the pipeline in Australia and three in New Zealand. Further to the five new properties in New South Wales, are: Quest Kelvin Grove (QLD); Quest Toowoomba (QLD); Quest Chermside on Playfield (QLD); Quest Rockingham (WA); Quest Mounts Bay Road (WA); Quest Maribyrnong (VIC); Quest West Perth (WA); Quest Nelson (NZ); Quest Taupo (NZ); and Quest Whangarei (NZ).
