“This major scale project represents a huge repositioning of the asset, and ultimately supports our contemporary vision for the Adina brand,” Chris said. “Elevating the Adina brand and hotel experience across our network is our absolute goal – city by city and hotel by hotel.

Adina Town Hall, a fixture in Sydney since its inauguration in 1998, boasts a coveted location favoured by both business and leisure travellers seeking to immerse themselves in the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Standing tall at 27 stories above Sydney’s bustling CBD, the hotel offers unparalleled views of Darling Harbour and the cityscape, including the historic Town Hall and its iconic Clock Tower.

Scheduled to commence on April 16, the extensive renovation will entail a complete closure of the TOGA-owned hotel, with a targeted completion date set for December 2024, just in time to welcome guests for the festive season.

The refurbishment project, spearheaded by the acclaimed sustainable design firm, Bates Smart, aims to reimagine every facet of Adina Town Hall. From guest rooms to public areas, including conference spaces, pool, and gym, no detail will be overlooked in the pursuit of creating a rejuvenated guest experience.

Drawing inspiration from refined CBD residential projects, Bates Smart seeks to infuse a sense of casual elegance throughout the hotel, transforming guest rooms into contemporary sanctuaries reminiscent of long-term apartments. Noteworthy design elements such as innovative lighting solutions and opulent bathroom fixtures will further enhance the ambience of each space, ensuring guests feel pampered and comfortable throughout their stay.
