Sea World hosts the Biggest and Best 2024 TOP Awards yet!
AccomNews' Mandy and Patrick Clarke honoured at 2024 TOP Awards among Management Rights industry's best
A record number of guests gathered at the Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast on July 23 to celebrate top talent in the management rights industry.
The 2024 TOP Awards showcased everything that’s wonderful about the management rights industry, recognising outstanding achievers from a diverse array of stellar entrants.
This year’s event, the biggest and best yet, featured new award categories and saw the peak body for the Management Rights Industry, Australian Resident Accommodation Manager’s Association (ARAMA), partner with Nick Buick and his team at The Onsite Manager to introduce the People’s Choice Awards.
The night honoured the best professionals across the management rights business, inspiring everyone involved in MLR with the achievements of the winners, finalists, and nominees. The work displayed by these top performers exemplifies the heights of service excellence this industry can reach.
Honouring Mandy and Patrick Clarke
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of our own publishers, Mandy and Patrick Clarke, with life membership of ARAMA.
Our magazine editor Mandy is also the publisher of Resort News and AccomNews alongside husband Patrick. They are also the founders of Australia’s only marketplace dedicated to selling accommodation business listings – AccomProperties.
Remarkably, for almost 30 years the print only magazine – Resort News has been the respected professional monthly subscription based publication dedicated to the management rights industry.
Trevor Rawnsley CEO of ARAMA said it was especially gratifying to present this honour: “For their extraordinary support and promotion of the management and letting rights industry over many years. Mandy and Patrick had successful careers in healthcare in Britain before making their home in Queensland, and the MLR industry is in wonderful health, thanks in large part to their care and hard work on our behalf.
Distinguished guests and attendees
Special guests at this year’s awards included Shadow Attorney General Tim Nicholls and Member for Surfers Paradise John Paul Langbroek. Nearly 300 guests attended the magnificent gala event, celebrating everything great about our industry.
