Choice grows portfolio adding four new properties
Choice Hotels Australasia has successfully secured four new hotel properties across New South Wales and Victoria, significantly bolstering its accommodation offerings in the regional and suburban markets.

In New South Wales, Choice Hotels’ two new property offerings include – the Quality Hotel Monte Pio and the Comfort Resort Moby Dick.
A heritage listed building and one of the most historic properties in the Hunter Valley’s city of Maitland, the newly acquired four-star Quality Hotel Monte Pio has undergone an extensive refurbishment over recent months. The 54 room property features four conference rooms, an a la carte restaurant, swimming pool, gym and outdoor spa. Quality Hotel Monte Pio will be available for stays from mid-May 2014.
Located adjacent to the beautiful Clarence River in the town of Yamba, the 3½-star Comfort Resort Moby Dick offers picturesque waterfront accommodation with fully self-contained kitchenettes and private balconies. Guests can enjoy the refreshing onsite saltwater pool, indulge in a relaxing spa or simply explore Yamba’s charming coastline and nearby Yuraygir National Park.
Further expanding its Victorian offering, Choice Hotels’ two new additions include Melbourne suburban properties the Quality Suites Beaumont Kew and the Comfort Inn Greensborough.
The Quality Suites Beaumont Kew offers a range of stylish studio, executive, twin and family studio apartments catering for one to five people. Ideally located in the salubrious suburb of Kew, a mere six kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD and an easy stroll to local cosmopolitan restaurants, cafes and public transport, it’s a superb option for both leisure and business travellers. Quality Suites Beaumont Kew will be available for pre-sell from 1 April 2014 for stays after mid-April.
Situated in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, the 3½-star Comfort Inn Greensborough will impress value-conscious leisure and corporate travellers alike. Located close to Greensborough Plaza and Northland shopping centre as well as the Bundoora campuses of RMIT and La Trobe Universities, the 24 room property features a wide selection of room options including six spa suites and a solar heated swimming pool.
