The reinvigorated ELT is poised to capitalise on the exciting transformations currently shaping Brisbane's future

The Westin Brisbane and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane are delighted to unveil a revitalised Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to steer the brand through a period of unparalleled growth and opportunity.

The preeminent hospitality brand welcomes the appointment of Kelvin Ramm as Cluster General Manager for The Westin Brisbane and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane. Ramm is joined by Valerie Wade as Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing, Julie-Ann Watt as Cluster Director of Sales, and Pamli Bose as Cluster Director of Finance, all overseeing the two properties.

The reinvigorated ELT is poised to capitalise on the exciting transformations currently shaping Brisbane’s future. Ben Roach, the Cluster Director of Brand, Marketing & Digital for Marriott’s Premium & Select Hotels in Brisbane, said he was delighted to welcome the new additions to the ELT at Four Points & The Westin. “Their extensive experience and dynamic approach to business development, innovation, service and sales will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our market presence and deliver exceptional experiences to our guests,” Roach said.

A former Chartered Accountant, Ramm entered the hotel industry at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa in 2001. He held senior leadership roles across the Marriott portfolio, including as General Manager of their Melbourne and Brisbane five-star properties, before this new appointment.

“Our new Executive Leadership Team brings not only decades of global hospitality experience but an innate understanding of Brisbane that combined, will position the brand to take full advantage of this exhilarating time,” Ramm said.

“There is a palpable sense of possibility as Brisbane prepares to step into the international spotlight as host of the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.“

The Westin Brisbane and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane are respected brands with a demonstrated reputation for exemplary service, comfort and laid-back sophistication. Wade returns to Queensland after spending 15 years in Dubai, leading Sales and Marketing teams for marquee properties including Jumeirah Beach Hotel and JW Marriott Marquis.

The multi-award-winning hotel professional has more than 30 years of experience achieving sales targets and maximising sales outputs in properties across Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Watt commenced her hospitality career as Sales Manager at Sebel Brisbane. Over two decades, she developed strong business relationships with the corporate, government, travel, MICE, leisure and wholesale sectors while leading teams at luxury properties throughout Queensland, including 11 years at Marriott properties.

Bose’s hotel career trajectory has taken her from a graduate accountant position to executive leadership roles within the Marriott International group where she was honoured with several leadership accolades. She joins The Westin Brisbane and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane from The Brisbane Marriott Hotel where she managed systems and environments to safeguard assets and improve operations and profitability.
